Position Highlights

Practice Information

This organisation provides allied health services across North Queensland, including regional and remote communities. The multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based services that improve health outcomes for children and families. This role offers broad clinical exposure and the opportunity to work alongside experienced allied health professionals while making a meaningful impact across North Queensland. Regular outreach travel forms part of the role and may include overnight stays, driving and small plane flights. Travel is completed during work hours where possible, with time in lieu provided for any required after-hours travel. A work vehicle is supplied.

Position Description

As a Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will play a key role in delivering advanced paediatric speech pathology services while providing clinical leadership, mentoring and discipline support across the Speech Pathology team. Key responsibilities include:





- Leading complex paediatric speech pathology assessments and interventions

- Mentoring and supporting Speech Pathologists across the organisation

- Delivering outreach services to regional and remote Queensland communities

- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive client outcomes

- Driving evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Position Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- Speech Pathology Australia membership

- AHPRA registration where applicable

- Experience managing paediatric speech pathology caseloads

- Current C Class Driver Licence

- Australian work rights with no sponsorship required
