About the Role

- Join an established employer-side Workplace & Employment team with a growing focus on safety and regulatory work.

- Work across a mix of employment and safety matters, with the role expected to evolve further into safety over time.

- Advise a quality client base and become a key contact when workplace incidents, regulator issues or sensitive employment matters arise.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Advise and represent employer clients in workplace safety matters, including incidents, investigations, prosecutions and dealings with regulators.
n
- Provide front-end and dispute-based employment law advice across the full spectrum of employer-side workplace issues.
n
- Manage matters across employment, industrial relations and safety with support from experienced senior practitioners.
n
- Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a go-to adviser on day-to-day workplace and incident-related issues.
n
- Contribute to the continued growth of the practice through client engagement and business development.
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- 5-7 years' PAE, with solid experience in employment and workplace relations, ideally from a respected private practice team.
n
- Demonstrated experience in safety, regulatory or incident-based matters, including exposure to prosecutions or regulator engagement.
n
- Strong employer-side employment law capability, including disputes, advisory and industrial matters.
n
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect well with clients and deliver practical advice.
n
- A genuine interest in building your career further in the safety space, along with a personable and down-to-earth style.
n
- A realistic 5.5 billable hours per day target, reflecting a genuine commitment to work/life balance.
n
