Trainer & Assessor in Community Services
Work Savvy is seeking experienced RTO Trainer & Assessor for Community Services to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training and assessmentonline and work basedfor the following qualifications;
CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services
CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services
Key responsibilities
Engage with Online, Workbased and Traineeship students and their employers/supervisors
Mentor and communicate with students and their employers/supervisors via a variety of methods; Teams/Zoom, Phone, Email and workplace visits where applicable
Assess student knowledge, skills, and competencies against nationally recognised training standards.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support student learning and progress.
Monitor student participation, engagement, and performance in online learning environments.
Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, assessment outcomes, and progress.
Support students in achieving learning goals, including providing additional guidance or resources where required.
Ensure compliance with RTO policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASQA, Standards for RTOs, Funding Contracts).
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including reviewing course content and assessment tools.
Participate in professional development to maintain current knowledge of industry practices and training methods.
What we're looking for
Vocational competency and currency with aminimumof 3-5 years of industry experience
Mandatory -Candidates must have specific industry experience to demonstrate industry currency within the last12 months.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or its successor
Robust communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs
Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle competing priorities
Your own ABN & Insurances
You will need a clear Police Check and WWCC
