Tanglin Trust School’s unique Gippsland Campus is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Geography Teacher to join its growing residential learning community.

Located in the picturesque town of Rawson, at the foothills of the Victorian Alps, the Gippsland Campus is home to Tanglin Trust School’s pioneering Highlands Programme, a transformational five-week residential experience that forms a cornerstone of the Year 9 journey. Designed to foster Curiosity, Confidence and Community, the programme combines academic learning, outdoor adventure, personal growth and community living in a way few schools around the world can offer.

As an extension of one of Singapore’s leading international schools, the campus provides students with an immersive educational experience that moves beyond the traditional classroom. About the Role

As Geography Teacher, you will:

- Teach Geography through experiential, field-based learning
- Lead environmental and sustainability-focused investigations
- Support students in a residential setting
- Participate in hiking, outdoor activities, and field trips
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship
- Help foster Tanglin’s core values of Curiosity, Confidence, and Community

This role extends well beyond the classroom. Approximately 25% of your time is dedicated to traditional teaching, with the remainder focused on outdoor learning, pastoral care, and residential life.

- Holds relevant teaching qualifications
- Can teach Geography across secondary levels
- Enjoys outdoor education and adventure
- Builds strong relationships with young people
- Thrives in a close-knit community environment
- Is resilient, adaptable, and passionate about experiential learning

Experience in outdoor education, hiking leadership, environmental education, or residential schools will be highly regarded.
