Position Information
Minto Public School is located in the south west Sydney region of NSW with an average student enrolment of 240 and one of four public primary schools providing educational services within the Minto Community of Schools. The school culture is that of belonging and connectedness with the students, staff and parents working together to promote school excellence.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach K-6 and approval to teach library or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education, with the ability to develop and deliver high-quality release from face-to-face programs.
- Proven ability to evaluate, select, acquire, catalogue,
and maintain a diverse range of high-quality resources across multiple formats, including digital tools, online databases, and print collections, to support curriculum implementation that is inclusive of Aboriginal Histories and Cultures, High Potential and Gifted Education, and the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff on curriculum planning and the organisation of whole school events.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement proactive management practices that maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment in the library.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Special Notes
This is a permanent part-time position of 3 days per week, 0.6FTE (full time equivalent)
