Job Description

Join Ampcontrol's Applications Division, based at our Ringwood production facility, where we design and manufacture market-leading technology for mining and industrial applications, including monitoring and control, communications, lighting, power quality and environmental monitoring.

We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join our production team, responsible for the assembly, testing, inspection, repair and overhaul of electrical products.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assemble, test, inspect and repair electrical and electronic products.
n
- Conduct electrical testing using manual and automated test equipment.
n
- Manufacture and overhaul mining and industrial electrical products.
n
- Fault-find and diagnose electrical products and equipment.
n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
n
- Complete quality checks and associated documentation.
n
- Assist R&D; Engineers with prototype builds, verification and validation.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
n
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
n
- Work collaboratively to meet quality and production requirements.
n

What you'll bring

- Electrical Trade qualification.Elec
n
- Experience testing electrical products in a manufacturing environment.
n




- Experience in fault finding, manufacture and repair.
n
- Competency using electrical test equipment.
n
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
n
- Understanding of applicable electrical standards.
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Ability to communicate at a technical level in English, both written and verbal
n
