Job Description

We're currently looking for an Engineering Lead/ Technical Lead to join an innovative technology business operating within the healthcare space.

You'll work across both the existing product environment and new product development, helping the team maintain a stable, secure platform while also introducing new ideas and capabilities.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Lead, mentor and support a team of software engineers.
n
- Remain hands-on across development, architecture and technical delivery.
n
- Help shape engineering standards, processes and best practices.
n
- Work across both BAU product development and current initiatives.
n
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
n
- Work closely with product and senior leadership on technical direction.
n
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and fit for purpose.

What we're looking for:

n

n




- Strong commercial experience with .NET / .NET Core and SQL Server.
n
- Experience across Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
n
- Someone who actively uses AI coding/development tools and understands how to apply them effectively.
n
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
n
- Good understanding of software quality, security and technical risk.
n

Nice to have:

n

Angular, mobile development, API design, OWASP/Secure SDLC, or exposure to healthcare technologies such as FHIR or DICOM.

n
