We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Umbo. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our organisation. We are looking for someone who has experience in the social enterprise, not-for-profit, aged care or health sector and who is deeply engaged in service delivery in a social enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse operational and financial metrics to ensure long term sustainability of Umbo's hubs (virtual clinics) and develop a plan for growth, whilst simultaneously increasing our impact.
- Analyse data and metrics to make informed decisions that optimise business performance
- Develop a plan to translate organisational strategy into clear operational priorities, ensuring sustainable growth of the clinical hubs




- Liaise with the clinical administration team to understand and deliver on operational requirements
- Establish internal structure and processes required to manage day-to-day operations of service delivery and evaluation.
- Ensure policies and procedures that relate to service delivery are developed and implemented as required
- Ensure operational processes meet NDIS and qualified requirements including the management of Umbo's NDIS audit

What we're looking for

- Minimum 4 years experience in operational management in a healthcare, for-purpose or NDIS setting with strong commercial acumen across operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and manage organisational processes effectively
- Experienced in scaling projects and developing operational requirements for growth.
- A hands-on leader who can move between strategy and operations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience
