Your new company Hays has partnered with a large public sector organisation seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for an initial contract of up to six months. This Brisbane-based role will support a significant organisational transformation program.

Your recent role

n

Working closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and an external consultancy, you will lead a comprehensive review of a key branch's operating model and organisational structure.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Documenting current structures, budgets, FTE, processes and service catalogues
n
- Conducting detailed discovery and current-state analysis
n
- Developing a strategic business case for change
n
- Designing future-state operating models and organisational structures
n
- Preparing implementation roadmaps and transition plans
n
- Mapping critical processes and recommending improvements
n
- Translating business requirements into practical operational and system solutions
n
- Supporting alignment with broader organisational change initiatives
n




- Managing consultancy scope, deliverables, performance and outcomes
n

What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstrated organisational design and operating model experience
n
- Proven capability developing strategic business cases and evidence-based recommendations
n
- Experience analysing organisational structures, budgets and workforce requirements
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across executive, management and operational levels
n
- Experience supporting complex transformation programs
n
- Strong analytical, project and product management capabilities
n
- The ability to translate complex information into pragmatic implementation plans
