THE POSITION

n

n
- This role is responsible for the successful coordination, events and functions, including client (internal and external) liaison and dining operations.
n
- Assist in coordinating the front of house team's daily operations and function operations.
n
- Diverse roster based on events
n
- Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment
n
- Provide administration support to the site's management team
n
- Adherence to Our Safety Culture framework is expected
n
- Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
n
- Liaise with kitchen and service teams regarding room set up and menu requirements during weekly run sheet meetings
n
- Provide a warm,



friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients
n

THE PERSON

n

n
- Proven experience in a function venue for large events such as sit down /cocktail parties / buffet or conference experience
n
- Demonstrated previous experience in leading a team as a 2IC, identifying opportunities for improvement, training and developing staff
n
- Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene
n
- Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions
n
- Experience with an online booking system, ensuring table and coordinating guests
n
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail
n
- Strong work ethic and "can do" attitude
n
- A current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain is a requirement of this role
n
