Run the engine room of a busy remediation builder.

RJ Bird Building is an established Class-2 remediation builder trusted by strata management companies across Sydney. We inspect building defects, quote the fix, and carry out the works. We’re a small, tight team — no layers, no bureaucracy — and we need someone organised and unflappable to keep the front end of every job moving: from the moment a quote request lands to the moment it’s ready for quoting, nothing stalls and nothing slips — because of you.

What you’ll do

- Work the phones — inbound and outbound — with strata managers and site contacts to understand each job, fill in the gaps, and record the details accurately
- Draft inspection requests and coordinate bookings between site contacts and our inspection technicians (fully templated and checklisted — you run the process, not invent it)
- Review returned inspection documentation for completeness before it goes to quoting
- Handle the tricky calls — when someone’s frustrated about a leak or a delay, you’re the calm voice that sorts it out, with us right behind you whenever something needs escalating




- Keep job files and records complete and tidy

- Detail-oriented to your bones — you get real satisfaction from a completed checklist, an accurate file, and nothing left hanging. What you capture is what we quote from
- A explicit communicator on the phone and in writing — this role is front‑line customer service as much as administration
- A calm problem‑solver who takes ownership and works without being chased
- Comfortable with technology. Building or strata experience is helpful but not essential — our processes are documented and we’ll teach you our world

What we offer

- Full‑time role, $60,000 – $65,000 + superannuation depending on experience
- Our office closes for three weeks over Christmas and New Year
