About the Role This is a broad, technical and commercially connected tax role sitting within a sophisticated funds & superannuation setting. You'll work across tax compliance, fund tax reporting, investment tax analysis, regulatory obligations, and support strategic tax initiatives that shape how the business operates.

You'll partner closely with finance, investment, product, and external advisors — making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both technical depth and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Tax Reporting — tax calculations, distributions, AMIT/MIT reporting, and investor statements
n
Superannuation Tax — support tax obligations across super products, regulatory filings, and compliance
n
Tax Compliance — income tax, GST, BAS, and regulatory submissions
n
Investment Tax Analysis — review investment structures, tax impacts, and product considerations
n
Advisory & Stakeholder Support — partner with investment, product, finance, and external tax advisors
n




Process & Systems Uplift — improve tax workflows, controls, and reporting frameworks
n
Regulatory Change — monitor legislative updates and support implementation across funds and super products
n

About You
n
n
CA/CPA qualified or progressing; CTA highly regarded
n
Background in funds management, superannuation, financial services, or Big 4 / mid‐tier tax
n
Strong understanding of AMIT/MIT rules, fund tax, or superannuation tax
n
Confident communicator with the ability to translate technical tax concepts for non‐technical stakeholders
n
Proactive, detail‐driven, and comfortable working in a quick‐paced investment environment
n
