St Maroun's College is looking for a suitably qualified Economics teacher for year 11 and 12. The position will commence in Term and there is flexibility with a P/T or F/T load.
We are currently seeking to employ a Secondary Teacher to join our HSIE department as an Economics teacher. The ability to teach another subject would be an advantage. The successful applicant must be passionate about making a difference in students' lives and within our College community. The position will commence in Term 1, for 12 months with a view to permanency.
Applicants must demonstrate the following desired skills and capabilities:
Have a commitment and passion for teaching
Able and qualified to teach Y11 and Y12 Economics
A transparent understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools and a willingness to contribute to the faith formation of students
Facilitate outcomes-based dynamic and cooperative learning experiences using ICT to cater for the diverse learning needs of students




Implement and evaluate cross-curriculum initiatives
Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
Capable of empowering students to be independent and creative learners
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Be engaged in further professional development as part of continual learning and maintenance of Accreditation
