As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who is looking for more than just another role. This is an opportunity for an ambitious professional to become a key leader within the practice, with a genuine pathway to equity partnership for the right candidate.

About the Role

n

Working closely with the Partners and leadership team, you will manage a portfolio of clients while providing high-quality business advisory and compliance services and play a key role in mentoring junior staff.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Manage a diverse portfolio of SME, family group and high-net-worth clients.

n

Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns.

n

Deliver proactive business advisory services and strategic insights.

n

Assist clients with cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting.

n

Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentorship.

n

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

n





Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client outcomes.

n

Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth strategies.

n

About You

n

You are an experienced accountant who enjoys building client relationships and delivering practical commercial advice.

n

CA or CPA qualified.

n

Minimum 4+ years' experience in public practice accounting.

n

Robust technical knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.

n

Experience managing a client portfolio autonomously.

n

Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

n

A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

n

Highly Regarded

n

Experience in business advisory engagements.

n

Leadership or mentoring experience.

n

Audit exposure or understanding of assurance engagements.

n

Desire to progress into ownership and practice leadership.
