About the role

n

Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Enrolled Nurse to work within our Cardiac/Surgical team. This position will be employed on a permanent part time basis 32 hours per week. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope's Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater's commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.

Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.

- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
n
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
n
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
n
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
n
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
n

About you

n

n
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
n
- Experience as a Enrolled Nurse in Acute Medical specifically in Cardiology
n
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment
n




- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with avariety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times
n
- Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and nights
