The HWY Hotel is seeking an experienced full-time DutyManager to join our management and leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and help lead one of Adelaide's favourite local hospitality destinations.

Featuring a lively lounge and sports bar, gaming room, quality dining offerings, function and entertainment spaces, and retail outlet, this role will suit a hands-on leader who enjoys engaging teams, driving service excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

n

- Lead day-to-day operations of the bar and front-of-house service areas
n
- Drive exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service standards and venue presentation
n
- Manage and support bar staff during busy service periods, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
n
- Deliver robust beverage knowledge and assist in maintaining quality product offerings
n
- Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, gaming, liquor licensing, and hotel policies
n
- Assist with venue-wide operational management as required, including coordinating service across multiple departments
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Duty Manager,



or hospitality leadership role
n
- Robust leadership and communication skills
n
- Proven ability to manage high-volume bar operations in a fast-paced environment
n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
n
- Current RSA and Responsible Persons Badge (desirable)
n
- Gaming experience and relevant gaming badges will be highly regarded but are not essential
n
