Job Description

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage outlets and functions, ensuring exceptional standards of service, presentation and guest experience. Working closely with the broader leadership and culinary teams, you will take ownership of the department's performance while creating a positive, professional and engaging environment for your team.

Key responsibilities

n

Leading and overseeing daily Food & Beverage operations across outlets, events and functions

n

Recruiting, training, developing and motivating the Food & Beverage team

n

Maintaining consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality

n

Managing rosters, labour costs and staffing levels in line with business requirements

n

Monitoring departmental budgets, revenue, costs and overall performance

n

Driving initiatives to increase revenue and improve profitability

n

Managing stock control, ordering, inventory and beverage cost management

n

Working closely with the culinary team to deliver a seamless guest experience

n

Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, food safety,



workplace health and safety and company policies

n

Managing guest feedback and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently

n

About you

n

Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Manager, Assistant F&B; Manager or similar leadership position

n

Strong operational knowledge across restaurants, bars, functions and/or hotel Food & Beverage operations

n

Demonstrated experience leading and developing hospitality teams

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

n

Strong rostering, labour management and cost-control capabilities

n

Commercial awareness and an understanding of departmental budgets and financial performance

n

A genuine passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences

n

Solid organisation and problem-solving skills

n

The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy operational environment

n

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification and relevant hospitality qualifications where required
