The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing complex client transactions and driving the firm's growth.

We are specifically seeking professionals with hands-on M&A; transaction experience in a consulting or advisory capacity, capable of leading complex deals from origination through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead and manage client engagements, including M&A;, capital raising, and strategic advisory, from start to finish.

n

Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving commercial outcomes.

n

Actively contribute to the firm's business development by identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities.

n

Oversee and enhance investment assets and portfolio companies, driving value creation and operational improvements.

n

Conduct in-depth market, industry, competitor, and company research to inform strategic and financial decisions.

n

Develop and present tailored financial models, key metrics, and valuations to support client transactions.

n

Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions, ensuring alignment with client and firm objectives.

n

Cultivate and maintain solid relationships with investors,



financial institutions, and business owners.

n

Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality client-facing materials, including presentations and reports.

n

Manage end-to-end execution of investment transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and legal documentation.

n

Provide strategic guidance to management teams overseeing portfolio companies, ensuring financial and operational performance improvements.

n

Develop and implement exit and succession strategies, such as IPOs, trade sales, and management buyouts.

n

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including financiers, accountants, lawyers, and industry experts.

n

Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities and risks to inform business and investment strategies.

Key Requirements

n

Proven track record in corporate advisory or consulting, preferably gained in an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or specialist M&A; consultancy, with extensive exposure to mid-market M&A; transactions.

n

Strong track record in end-to-end M&A;, capital raising, and/or restructurings and turnarounds.

n

Expertise in financial modelling, strategic advisory and problem-solving.

n

Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and drive commercial outcomes.





n

Proficiency in IT systems and digital tools to enhance efficiency and insights.

n

Strong business development skills, with the ability to originate and secure new opportunities.

n

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

n

Deep understanding of corporate structures, financial transactions, and organisational design.

n

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth through innovation.

n

Business-owner mentality with a keen interest in investment.

n

Results-driven, accountable, hard-working, proactive, resilient and ethical, going above and beyond for the advancement of client and firm interests.

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Qualifications

n

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).

n

Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA.
