The opportunity with us as a Document Controller
We are seekingthreeDocument Controllersto support our architectural team in managing project documentation throughout all phases of design and delivery.You will help ensure drawings, specifications, reports,correspondenceand other project records areaccurate, current,compliantand readily accessible. This opportunity would suit someone with experience in an architecture,
engineering or construction environment who understands industry-standard document management practices, naming conventions and version control.
You will be:
- Maintaining master document registers across architectural projects.
- Ensuringaccuratecontrol ofdrawings, specifications, reports, correspondence, RFIs and other project records.
- Implementing document control procedures, including naming conventions, revisioncontroland filing standards.
- Uploading,distributingand tracking documentation through digital document management platforms.
- Reviewing documents for completeness,accuracyand compliance with internal standards.
- Preparing document transmittals and coordinatingtimelydistribution to project teams,consultantsand clients.
- Supporting tender documentation, planning submissions, buildingapprovalsand client milestones.
- Maintaining audit-ready records, managing project archives and reporting on document status and outstanding reviews.
We’relooking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a Document Controllerwithin an architecture, engineering, or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawing sets and design documentation workflows.
- High levelof accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PDF mark-up tools.
- Understanding of BIM processes and digital design documentation is preferred.
- Experience working with ISO 9001 or internal QA systems is desired.
