The Homelessness Services providesprofessional support and suitable emergency and long-term accommodation options for people who are, or are at risk ofbecoming, homeless within the Northern Country region.

n

As the Case Manager, you will provide a service for people who are, or at risk of becoming, homeless - the outcome of which is to facilitate the process of moving the clients toward independent and / or safe housing.

n

The Country North Homelessness Alliance has developed a Charter dedicated to delivering quality, focused, inclusive and culturally safe services. The Alliance is underpinned by a culture of collaboration and cooperation to ensure the best possible outcomes for all clients in the Country
n North region of SA.

- Have a knowledge of the issues affecting homelessclients.
n
- Have the ability to establish positive, empowering relationships.
n
- Advocate for and with your clients, ensuring their needs are the focus.
n
- Be organised and ableto meet deadlines.
n
- Have a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
n

n

It is essential for you to have:

n

n
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
n

n

It is desirable for you to have:

n

n
- Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline.
n
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.
n

n

You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.

n
