We are currently seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our beautiful Mascot centre on a full-time basis. About the role
n
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs for young children while ensuring compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislative requirements.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years.
n
- Develop and deliver play-based learning experiences that support children's emotional, social, physical, cognitive and language development, including early literacy and numeracy through activities such as storytelling, music, art, role play and group activities.
n
- Observe, assess and document children's learning and development, identifying any developmental or wellbeing concerns and maintaining accurate individual learning records and portfolios.
n
- Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and independence.
n
- Foster positive, respectful and supportive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the broader community,
and regularly communicate with families about their child's learning and development.
n
- Work collaboratively with educators to deliver high-quality educational programs and achieve positive outcomes for children.
n
- Ensure children's health, safety and wellbeing in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and centre policies.
n
- Support inclusive practices that recognise each child's individual strengths, interests and cultural background.
n
- Maintain accurate documentation, developmental assessments and family communications.
n
- Participate in staff and parent meetings, professional development activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key requirements
n
n
- Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
n
- Current NESA accreditation, or eligibility to obtain accreditation.
n
- At least 1 year experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in a licensed early childhood education and care service.
n
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
n
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
n
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team.
n
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
n
n
A remuneration package including base salary and superannuation is available.
