FinXL is seeking a Network Engineer - NV1 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

- Deliver end-to-end Cisco routing and switching solutions across complex network infrastructure.

- Design, configure, and maintain high-performing enterprise routing architectures.

- Implement robust enterprise switching protocols to maintain continuous service delivery.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced network performance issues and incidents.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support network upgrades and changes.

- Ensure strict adherence to government security protocols and network architecture standards.





- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology maps, and procedural guidelines.

Key Skills & Experience

- Must hold an active Australian Government NV1 (Negative Vetting 1) Security Clearance.

- Strong hands-on engineering experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies.

- Proven expertise configuring standard routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).

- Deep technical understanding of switching frameworks (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).

- Demonstrated experience working within large-scale Telecommunications or Enterprise networks.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network operational issues.

- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience).
