About the role
n
The Competitive Play Administrator will provide administrative support and engage with various stakeholders to deliver Tennis Victoria Competitions, Endorsed Leagues and Endorsed Events.
n
You will assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of a range of Tennis Victoria delivered competitions and events as well as support third party event providers, to ensure a consistent, player first approach to event delivery.
n

- Provide administrative and operational support for Tennis Victoria competitions and team events, including Pennant, Junior Pennant, Regional Team Events and Age-Based Cups.
n
- Coordinate competition administration, including league creation, scheduling, player communications, entry fee management and weekly competition tasks.
n
- Support the delivery of Tennis Victoria's annual competitive play calendar, including event logistics, ball orders and financial processing.
n
- Assist in the administration, support and education of Competition Play software platforms, including Tournament Planner and League Manager.
n
- Work closely with clubs, associations,
players and officials to deliver a high-quality competition experience and ensure accurate player and competition records.
n
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events and deliver timely, brand-aligned communications across digital and social media channels.
n

About you
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
- Experience in competition, event or sports administration, with knowledge of Tournament Planner and/or League Manager software is preferred.
n
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, record management and reporting.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse network.
n
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, show initiative and meet deadlines.
n
- Knowledge of the Australian tennis competition landscape, including tournaments, leagues and competitive play pathways, is desirable.
n
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
n
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis VIC.
