Job Description

If you already sell workwear, safety wear or PPE through trade retailers, uniform suppliers and industrial distributors, you'll understand this role immediately.

You'll be building B2B sales for an established workwear brand across Victoria and Current South Wales.

n

That means:

n

Opening new retail and end-user accounts

n

Developing relationships with workwear retailers, owners and account representatives

n

Helping retail sales teams win business with construction, mining, industrial and corporate customers

n

Presenting products, preparing quotes and converting opportunities

n

Growing existing accounts and repeat purchasing

n

Managing pricing, margin, forecasts, stock expectations and lead times

n

Maintaining an accurate CRM and reporting useful market intelligence

n

Knowing what competing brands are doing and where the opportunities sit

n

The range includes work pants, shorts, hi-vis, flame-resistant workwear, safety footwear and accessories. Knowledge of technical fabrics,



garment construction and Australian safety standards will be highly regarded.

You must:

n

Have full, unrestricted Australian work rights

n

Be able to attend the Port Melbourne office as required

n

Have previous experience selling workwear, safety wear, PPE or closely related products

n

Alternatively, you must bring a substantial, current relationship book across workwear retailers and sales outlets throughout Victoria and New South Wales.

n

You'll need a valid driver's licence and be prepared to travel for customer meetings, including occasional overnight stays.

n

This is a hands‐on sales position. There is no team to hide behind and no inherited title doing the heavy lifting. You'll be expected to find opportunities, build credibility and turn them into profitable sales.
