Who we’re looking for

- Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer, ideally within the Trades and Services industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of conveyor belt systems, including splicing, maintenance and repair
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and provide technical guidance
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

Requirements

- You’ll play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining steel cord and fabric conveyor belts while ensuring safety and quality are always top priorities.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair conveyor belt systems
- Perform belt splicing and joining tasks using specialised techniques and equipment
- Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor belts and components
- Provide technical expertise and advice to customers regarding conveyor belt selection, installation and operation
- Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
- Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards
