Jayce Tutoring

Melbourne

You'll own our social media end to end, working directly with Jayce. Planning what goes out, making it, posting it, and telling us what worked. This is ownership of a project, not a task queue. We want someone who turns up with opinions about what we should be posting.

We're not chasing followers. We're after content niche enough that a parent preparing a Year 8 kid for JMSS stops scrolling, clicks, and books a trial. TikTok and YouTube are where that's most likely to happen. You won't be making five different things. You'll be making one positive thing and cutting it for each place it needs to live.

Responsibilities

- Produce short-form video for TikTok and YouTube first, then cut it for Instagram Reels and Facebook
- Plan what goes out and keep a consistent posting cadence
- Appear on-camera, or direct and script content with people who will
- Test hooks, captions, pacing and retention, and report what worked

Requirements

- You've actually run an account, whether personal, a side project, or for someone else
- You can make the content, not just schedule it
- Comfortable being on camera, or comfortable finding people who are

- Can work across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook, making one piece of content and cutting it for each
- Strong written and spoken English

Nice to Have

- You attended a selective school, got a scholarship, or have sat these exams yourself. You'll be making content about a process, so it helps to have been through it
- You've grown an account from scratch, not just posted to one
- You can edit short-form video yourself (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut or Canva)
- You know Reddit, not as a place to advertise but as a place to be useful in parenting and selective-entry communities
- Studying marketing, media or communications

The details

Pay $30/hr

Hours 8 hrs/week

Who you'd work with Jayce, our founder

Start Ideally 1 September

Contract One month, part-time. A fixed four-week engagement. We want to see what a month of consistent posting does before deciding what comes next.
