About the Role

We are looking for a Coordinator Revenue Services to join our local government client based in Yeppoon, QLD. You will support the Council's Financial Services team and oversee the effective day-to-day operation of Revenue Services.

- Pay Rate: $69.89 per hour (incl casual loading)
- Employment: Casual | 36.25 hours per week
- Location: Yeppoon, QLD
- Duration: Approx 3 months, with the possibility of extension
- Start Date: Immediate start

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead, develop and manage the Revenue team to deliver high performance and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee rating structures, revenue systems, billing, collections and compliance with legislation and Council policies.
- Provide expert revenue and financial advice and respond to stakeholder enquiries, reports and correspondence.
- Coordinate revenue policies, procedures, process improvements and financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, annual financial reporting, audits,



reconciliations, strategic financial planning and internal controls.

About You

- Demonstrated expertise in revenue accounting, rating legislation, debt recovery and financial policies and procedures.
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Robust analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide sound financial advice.
- Excellent communication, consultation, negotiation and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency with financial and business systems.
- Experience within a local government environment will be highly regarded.
