As a Deli Team Member, you'll provide attentive service to our customers, preparing and serving:

n

n
- Fresh meat, poultry and fish
n
- Cold meats and smallgoods
n
- Salads and antipasto
n
- Ready-to-eat meals and pastries
n

n

You'll also help keep displays fresh and inviting, recommend products, and offer tasters.

n

This is a casual role to start, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Previous deli experience is highly desirable, but not essential, we'll provide training and support.

What you'll bring:

- A friendly, can-do attitude and great communication skills

- Comfort working with both cooked and uncooked meat and seafood
n
- A love of working with people, both customers and your team
n
- Positive energy, initiative and willingness to learn

- Commitment and ability to follow food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
n
- Ongoing daytime availability 3-4 days per week,



including every second weekend (rosters are set based on your availability and operational needs)

- Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout your shift
n

Pay rates are set by the General Retail Industry Award. The 2026-27 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are:

Casual
n Weekdays $34.76
n Saturday $41.72
n Sunday $48.67

n

Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts. Please view the full Award for all applicable rates and allowances.
