About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced BMS Technician to join our high-performing Queensland Service Team based in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a seasoned BMS professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across diverse customer sites, and building trusted relationships with clients. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising sophisticated building automation systems that support mission-critical operations. You'll have the autonomy to manage your day-to-day work while being backed by a highly skilled national technical support network and a global organisation committed to your professional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform service, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated HVAC control systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex system and communication faults
- Deliver contract servicing and reactive breakdown support
- Conduct system performance analysis and optimisation
- Prepare quotations and manage small upgrade projects
- Commission and validate control system modifications
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through technical expertise and responsive service
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards

About You

We're looking for an experienced technician who is passionate about technology, customer service, and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will ideally have:

- Minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in Building Automation, BMS, or Building Controls
- Robust knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical services
- Experience diagnosing and servicing BMS controls and field devices
- Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (essential)
- Strong IT, networking, and system integration skills
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding capability
- Outstanding customer communication skills
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
