Case Manager – ASPIRE Program – Townsville Employment Term: Maximum Term to 22 September 2027, Full-Time (38 hours per week) Location: Townsville Remuneration: $53.43 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay) Applications Close: Applications will be reviewed as they are received and, therefore, may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.

Your part in our UnitingCare team
The Aspire program, based in Townsville, provides free support to young people who are not being protected by their family, friends and communities. As Case Manager with the Aspire Program in Townsville, you will facilitate the development of quality practices and effective coordination of the service delivery, including group programs, to vulnerable young people accessing the service. In this role, you will work with youth to build capacity, connectedness, reliance, wellbeing, education outcomes, career options, safe and stable housing and positive family and community relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Intake assessment
- Client centred planning.
- Counselling and therapeutic support
- Case Management
- Integrated Responses in partnership with other stakeholders in support of clients of Aspire.
What makes a difference for us?
- A minimum of an undergraduate qualification in a relevant human services field i.e. Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or other Human and Behavioural Science discipline
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to utilise therapeutic processes and practices including the ability to analyse, evaluate and make objective judgments and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in providing youth support, counselling and related responses within a case management framework with outcomes that enable clients to make informed choices in their lives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child and youth development particularly in relation to the effects of trauma, violence, grief
- Current Qld Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
