Salary: $115,817.68 (inclusive of all benefits/allowances including Worker Retention Payment) plus super

One Tree Community Services Inc is a national not for profit offering early childhood education, out of school hours care, community services, registered early childhood training, and professional support.

Granny Glasgow's is located in sunny Carnarvon, Licensed for 58 places. Our rooms are defined by purpose: Art Studio, Café, Explorers and Babies. The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5.30pm.

What you'll do

n

n
- Be able to lead and manage a team of educators.
n
- Hold a Nominated Supervisor certificate and understand the requirements.
n
- Complete rosters according to the ratio requirements of WA.
n
- Handle the day-to-day operations of the service.
n
- Mentor and lead by example.
n
- Create partnerships with staff, families, the community, and One Tree.
n
- Oversee continuous improvements and compliance for the service.
n
- Ensure the workplace operates within Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)

- Manage budgets and funding.
n
- Manage staff, including performance, recruitment, professional development, and performance appraisals.
n
- Deliver a curriculum in accordance with One Tree's philosophy as the service's Educational Leader.
n
- Act as a Responsible Person, First Aid Officer, and Nominated Supervisor of the service.
n

n

What you'll bring

n

n
- 5 years + experience as a Director or in a managerial role.
n
- Organisational skills including include general organising, time management, scheduling, coordinating resources and meeting deadlines.
n
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families, and community.
n
- Experience in achieving excellence at management level in an early education and care setting.
n
- Experience in managing staff including staff performance, recruitment, and performance appraisals.
n
- A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiencies in service delivery.
n
- Knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth laws and regulations.
n

Certifications & Licences required

n

n
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
n
- A clear WA Working with Children Check & National Police Clearance
n
- Current Senior First Aid & CPR certificates
n
- A valid driver's licence
n
