As an Inclusive Business Partenr, you will actively develop positive relationships with employer and stakeholders to increase opportunities for SYC’s Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA). SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, and you’ll be based at a SYC Western Melbourne site, you will also be required to travel for the role around the Westgate areas including Melton, Altona Meadows, Footscray, Taylors Lakes and Werribee.
In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of wellbeing, independence, and opportunity for everyone. Day to day activities will include:
- Actively promote and market Disability Employment Services directly to job seekers, school leavers and employers
- Positively grow Inclusive Employment Australia caseloads through direct registrations
- Encourage market participants to potential employers that result in job placement
- Maintain knowledge of and provide expert advice on the local community and labour market
About You
As someone who enjoys working autonomously within a broader team environment, you will be passionate about developing relationships with employers, relevant stakeholders, and participants to achieve success in their employment journey! You will be outcomes focused and enjoy the challenge of meeting targets and deadlines. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
- Self-motivation and initiative,
with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify creative and lateral solutions to problems
For this role, you will need to:
- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Be eligible to work in Australia
- Have possession of a current valid Driver’s License, willingness to drive
