Job Title: Junior Python Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Python Developer for a 3-month contract based in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone early in their software development career who is eager to gain hands-on experience working on real-world applications while collaborating with experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of Python-based applications

- Write clean, readable, and well-documented Python code

- Support debugging and fixing issues in existing codebases

- Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and other team members

- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

- Help with basic data processing, scripting, or automation tasks

- Learn and apply new tools, frameworks,



and technologies as required

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python

- Understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, control flow)

- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus

- Exposure to frameworks such as Flask or Django is desirable but not essential

- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

- Positive communication skills and ability to work in a team

Nice to Have
- Experience with REST APIs

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

- Exposure to cloud platforms or Linux environments
