Start Your Career in Automotive Collision Repair

Love cars, enjoy hands-on work and want a trade where you can see the results of your skills at the end of every job? Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Panel Beating Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Enoggera, QLD.

This is an chance to start your career in a professional automotive collision repair workshop, working alongside experienced tradespeople while completing your AUR32120 Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology.

You'll learn how to repair damaged vehicles, restore body panels and develop the practical skills needed to become a qualified Panel Beater.

No previous panel beating experience is required. If you're hands-on, reliable and genuinely interested in automotive repair, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside qualified panel beaters, you'll learn how to:
- Assess vehicle body damage and identify required repairs.
- Repair damaged body panels and vehicle components.
- Remove, replace and correctly align damaged panels.
- Straighten and reshape damaged metal panels.
- Assist with repairs to vehicle body structures.
- Use specialised panel beating tools and collision repair equipment.
- Prepare repaired panels and vehicles for the refinishing process.
- Remove and refit vehicle components as part of the repair process.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and specifications.
- Complete repairs to a high-quality standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

As your skills and confidence develop, you'll take on more complex repairs and greater responsibility under the supervision of qualified tradespeople.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical,



hands-on work and wants to build a genuine career in automotive collision repair. To be successful, you'll have:

- A genuine interest in cars and automotive repair.
- A hands-on and practical approach to work.
- A willingness to learn and take direction.
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team.
- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).

No experience? No problem. Previous panel beating experience or a Certificate II is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and commitment to completing their apprenticeship.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible for this apprenticeship.
