About the role
We are seeking two full-time professionals to join our team at our Tuggerah, NSW location: an Inventory Controller and a Dismantler. These are critical positions within our operations, each playing a vital role in the efficiency and success of our business.
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing stock levels, overseeing inventory systems, and ensuring accurate records and effective supply chain operations. This role is essential to maintaining operational continuity and optimising our inventory processes.
The Dismantler will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling components and materials as required by our operations. This hands-on role is crucial to our production workflow and requires technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
Key responsibilities - Inventory Controller
- Monitor and manage stock levels across all inventory categories, ensuring optimal availability
- Maintain accurate records within inventory management systems, conducting regular audits and reconciliations
- Process purchase orders, receipts, and stock movements with precision and attention to detail
- Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse staff, and operational teams to ensure smooth inventory flow
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to inventory management
Key responsibilities - Dismantler
- Safely dismantle components and materials according to operational requirements and technical specifications
- Operate dismantling equipment with proficiency and maintain safe working practices at all times
- Segregate and sort dismantled materials appropriately for reuse, recycling, or disposal
- Maintain accurate records of dismantling activities and material outputs
- Inspect materials and components prior to and following dismantling procedures
- Support inventory management by providing timely updates on dismantling progress
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and adhere to health and safety protocols
What we're looking for - Inventory Controller
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a similar procurement and inventory role within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and attention to detail capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends to support operational improvements
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices is advantageous
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required; further qualifications in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management are preferred
What we're looking for - Dismantler
- Proven experience in dismantling, mechanical assembly, or a related hands-on manufacturing role
- Competency with hand tools, power tools, and potentially specialised dismantling equipment
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols within manufacturing environments
- Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting and working at various heights safely
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions and procedures accurately
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Relevant training or certifications in health and safety, machinery operation, or dismantling processes are advantageous
