This isn't your typical automotive electrical role. You'll gain hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and aftermarket equipment on aviation refuelling trucks, developing specialist skills across automotive electrical systems, diagnostics and purpose-built vehicles.

With aviation refuelling vehicles requiring ongoing maintenance, repairs and upgrades, this opportunity allows you to continue your apprenticeship while building experience in a specialised and niche area of the automotive and aviation industries.

For the right candidate, there is also potential to progress within the business following the successful completion of your apprenticeship.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your apprenticeship year and experience, but may include:

- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems on aviation refuelling vehicles.
- Installing aftermarket electrical products, accessories and specialised equipment.
- Carrying out electrical fault finding, testing and diagnostics.
- Maintaining and repairing vehicle electrical components and systems.
- Assisting with wiring, electrical modifications and equipment installations.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Following detailed specifications, procedures and safety requirements.
- Ensuring all work is completed with meticulous and thorough attention to detail.
- Developing specialised knowledge of vehicles and equipment used within the aviation refuelling industry.

As your skills and experience develop,



you'll take on more complex diagnostic, installation and repair work under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 2:30pm.
- No regular weekend work – weekend attendance would only be required in the event of an operational call-out.
- Candidates must be reliable and comfortable with early morning starts.

- Is currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Electrical Apprentice looking to continue their apprenticeship with a new host employer.
- Has a genuine interest in automotive electrical systems, diagnostics and specialised vehicles.
- Has practical experience appropriate to their current apprenticeship year.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in completing work accurately and thoroughly.
- Has strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- Is reliable, punctual and committed to completing their apprenticeship.
- Understands the importance of following procedures and maintaining high safety standards.
- Is willing and able to reliably travel to Mascot, NSW.
