Where you'll be working

Located at Cumberland Hospital, you'll join the Corporate Records Unit within Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). The Unit supports critical functions across policy and procedure, privacy and GIPA, content management and records management. This is an opportunity to contribute to a professional, customer-focused team where accuracy, confidentiality, sound judgement and continuous improvement are highly valued.

- Work alongside experienced professionals across records, privacy, GIPA and policy functions.

What you'll be doing As Administrative Officer,



you'll provide high-quality administrative and professional support across the Corporate Records Unit, helping teams meet legislative, governance and operational requirements while delivering responsive service to internal stakeholders.

- Support records management, Content Manager, privacy and GIPA activities, including compliance reviews, audits and information requests.
- Assist with the development and review of WSLHD policies, procedures and guidelines, including support for relevant committees.
- Coordinate meeting administration, including agendas, minutes and documentation for the Clinical Documentation Committee and other meetings.
- Provide confidential, timely and customer-focused administrative support while managing competing priorities and statutory deadlines.
- Maintain unit resources, assets, stock and inventory, while embracing technology and continuous improvement opportunities.

- Comprehensive administrative and secretarial support skills including minute taking and high-level committee support.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of confidentiality and information privacy requirements.
- High level records management knowledge and competencies.
- Highly developed computer literacy skills, including spread sheet management, presentations and word processing.
- Demonstrated skills in intranet development and/or maintenance.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with an ability to be versatile, work under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
- Current valid NSW Drivers Licence and be willing to use it for work purposes.
