We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Project Manager for an initial six-month contract with a well-established organisation undergoing significant business and technology change.

In this exciting role you will take ownership of several concurrent application projects that must be delivered over the coming months. These initiatives include application migrations, the implementation of new enterprise platforms and the replacement of an important business system.

This is a hands-on delivery role for a Project Manager who can work confidently across business stakeholders, application teams, vendors and international delivery partners.

The role

You will manage the business and technology coordination required to deliver several focused application initiatives.

While specialist internal teams and external partners will perform much of the technical implementation, you will be responsible for bringing the overall delivery together. This will include:

- Establishing clear scope, plans, responsibilities and delivery milestones
- Coordinating business stakeholders, application teams and external vendors
- Clarifying business requirements and challenging assumptions where needed
- Identifying application, integration, data and operational dependencies
- Managing risks, issues, decisions and competing priorities
- Coordinating testing, defect resolution and business acceptance




- Providing clear reporting and escalating issues before they affect delivery

What you will bring You are a practical and commercially minded Applications Project Manager who is comfortable working across both business and technology, including:

- 7-10+ years' experience as an Applications Project Manager delivering application implementations, migrations or replacements
- Exposure to finance systems, CMS/web platforms or Salesforce implementations
- Strong understanding of the application delivery lifecycle
- Experience managing integrations and dependencies between business systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills
- Solid planning, governance, risk, issue and dependency management capability
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities
