ASSET MANAGER An exciting opportunity to join an established Real Estate Funds Manager in the role of Asset Manager. Supporting the Fund Managers and working closely with the highly experienced and agile management team, this role will offer exceptional opportunity for growth and direct involvement in the strategic management of a varied portfolio of real estate assets.

Leyton Funds is an ASIC-licensed property investor and funds manager with close to $600 million in assets under management nationally across retail, industrial and office property.

Reporting to the Fund Managers, this role has been created through growth of our portfolio and would suit a motivated professional looking to advance their career in real estate asset and investment management in an exciting, team-oriented environment.

This is a proactive, hands-on role assisting Leyton Funds to deliver its asset specific investment strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Implementation of investment strategies within the portfolio





· Oversight and management of external property managers and property level financial performance

· Lease analysis, administration & tenant negotiations

· Supporting the establishment and delivery of marketing and capital works initiatives

· Supporting Investor Relations team in completion of property and fund level investor reporting

· Liaising with key stakeholders including tenants, banks, consultants, lawyers

· Supporting fund valuations and debt reporting

· Supporting the achievement of target investment performance The successful candidate for the role will ideally be tertiary qualified with a degree in property economics, valuations or management and have at least 3-5 years’ experience in the commercial property industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with property and/or asset management, a good understanding of leases and proficiency in EXCEL and Forbury will be highly valued. An ability to multi-task, good time management and efficiency are vital attributes for this role.
