About the Role

We are seeking an motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Account Executive to join our Dubbo team. This is a dynamic role that goes beyond administration - you’ll play a key part in supporting client accounts and delivering outstanding service across all stages of the insurance lifecycle. You will assist with new business, renewals, endorsements, claims, and other key transactions, while helping maintain a high-performing, client-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and stakeholders
- Respond to client enquiries and resolve or escalate issues within required timeframes
- Support a responsive, client-focused service culture

Account & Administrative Support

- Assist with processing policies, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with company standards
- Complete daily banking, receipting, and filing
- Support office administration including mail, correspondence, stationery, and general operations

Financial & Operational Tasks

- Monitor outstanding debtors and follow up overdue payments
- Use systems and reporting tools to minimise aged debt
- Coordinate general office maintenance to ensure a safe and professional environment

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure all work complies with insurance regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Accurately record all client interactions in Salesforce
- Support compliance outcomes and contribute to quality assurance standards

About You

You are a reliable,



proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring:

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and ask questions
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and within a team

Qualifications & Experience

Preferred:

- Experience in the insurance industry, ideally in an administrative or client-facing role

Required:

- Police/ASIC clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Willingness to obtain Tier 1 General Insurance (FNSASICN513) qualification (supported on the job)

- Adhere to company policies, Code of Conduct, and workplace procedures
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards
- Participate in continuous improvement and professional development (CPD requirements)
- Follow all regulatory, financial, and operational directives

Significant Information

This role may involve the provision of general insurance advice (subject to appropriate qualifications and authorisation), defined as providing recommendations to retail clients regarding insurance products.
