GRACosway is looking for an Associate to join our Melbourne office, working as part of our national Corporate and Financial Communications practice. This full-time role would suit someone in the early stages of their career and offers plenty of variety and room to grow.

GRACosway is proud to be Australia’s leading corporate and financial communications and public affairs consulting firm. We work with an exceptional roster of clients, providing strategic advice on high-profile transactions, communications challenges and issues management briefs.

About the role

As an Associate, you'll work with colleagues across the team to support GRACosway’s clients on a range of projects, including high-profile transactions, issues management briefs and reputation building through corporate communications mandates. A typical day for an Associate might involve:

- Preparing detailed media analysis for colleagues and clients
- Conducting research and preparing comprehensive client briefs
- Developing high quality written materials, including media releases, news summaries and client correspondence
- Using digital platforms to conduct media monitoring and prepare client coverage reports
- Assisting with planning and execution of client communications activities
- Providing input into client communications strategies and attending client meetings

About you





GRACosway’s Associates come from different professional backgrounds and offer a mix of skills and strengths. Our ideal candidate for this role will have:

- Tertiary qualifications and 1-3 years’ experience (or established interest) in media, communications, reputation management, journalism or a related field
- Robust writing, editing and document presentation skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Sound time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Plenty of energy and initiative, coupled with an interest in problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

You have a strong client service ethic, are interested in the world around you, and are capable of managing a variety of tasks and anticipating the needs of colleagues and clients.
