Automotive Sales Representative

FluidDrive is Australia's largest transmission remanufacturer, supply remanufactured transmissions to OE manufactures and transmission workshops Australia Wide. We're known for our quality workmanship and technical expertise with 2 facilities in Melbourne and Sydney and we're looking for a sales representative who can represent that reputation out in the field.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced automotive sales representative to grow our footprint across the entire automotive trade. This is a relationship building role. You'll be the face of FluidDrive to transmission workshops, dealerships and automotive businesses, introducing them to what we offer and building the kind of trust that turns a first conversation into an ongoing account.

What You'll Be Doing

- Identify and approach potential automotive clients including transmission workshops, dealerships and mechanic shops
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients and industry contacts
- Represent FluidDrive professionally at client meetings, site visits and industry events
- Clearly communicate our services, capabilities and points of difference to prospective clients
- Manage a pipeline of leads and follow up consistently to convert interest into business
- Report regularly on client visits,

- Work closely with the FluidDrive team to make sure client expectations are understood and met
- Stay across industry trends and competitor activity in the transmission and automotive service space
- Represent the brand with consistency and professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar client facing automotive role
- Robust communication and relationship building skills
- A professional, presentable manner suited to representing a specialist brand
- Self motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
- Confident approaching new businesses and building relationships from scratch
- Reliable, organised and able to manage a client pipeline without close supervision
- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, ideally with an understanding of transmissions, is highly regarded
