LK Hospitality is looking for skilled bartenders to work events at The Grand Room, our premium private event space within Capitol Grand.

Working alongside live music and world class hospitality, you'll be part of some of Melbourne's biggest nights.

About Us

Founded in 2019, LK Hospitality has quickly made a name for itself as the home of innovative, creative and world-class dining and drinking experiences. Led by Executive Culinary Director, Stephen Nairn, our portfolio includes award-winning Omnia, Yugen Dining and Yugen Omakase. In addition to The Grand Room and Bromley Gallery Events, all located within the prestigious Capitol Grand, on the bustling corner of Toorak Road and Chapel Street, South Yarra and Portside.

The Role

You own the guest experience and the bar for the length of the event.

- Greet and farewell guests personally, holding service to standard throughout their visit
- Recommend beverages that genuinely match what each guest is after
- Guide guests through the beverage list with accurate, working knowledge of what's on it
- Pick up service wherever it's needed, from running beverages to supporting the team
- Keep bar stock and garnishes ready ahead of service
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the bar
- Verify guest age and refuse service to anyone underage or intoxicated

You'll work weekly events on Fridays or Saturdays, from around 4.30pm to 1am.

Who We're Looking For

You know your product,



you keep several things moving during a busy shift, and you pay attention to the detail guests notice.

- Strong knowledge of wine, beer and cocktails
- Confident multitasking during busy service
- Clear communication and strong attention to detail
- Current RSA certification
- Experience in a busy, high volume bar

And the non-negotiables - you hold the standard without needing to be chased, you keep the bar running the way it should even when it's busy, and the rest of the team can rely on you.
