Bethlehem Healthcare Pty Ltd is currently building its professional workforce as we progress our NDIS provider registration and prepare to commence participant services.

We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our team and support our planned Specialist Behaviour Support services.

About the role The successful candidate may be involved in:

- Conducting functional behaviour assessments
- Developing and reviewing evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
- Providing positive behaviour support to NDIS participants
- Working with participants, families, carers and support teams
- Supporting implementation of behaviour support strategies
- Maintaining appropriate participant records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with allied health and other support professionals
- Supporting compliance with relevant NDIS requirements

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, counselling, social work, behavioural science, occupational therapy or another relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in positive behaviour support / behaviour support
- Experience developing Behaviour Support Plans and/or Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner capability/assessment status appropriate to the services they provide
- Good understanding of NDIS behaviour support requirements and relevant NDIS Practice Standards
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Check




- Appropriate qualified indemnity and public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain these
- Professional references and evidence of relevant qualifications/certifications

Experience working with complex behaviours, restrictive practices and participants with higher support needs will be highly regarded.

Engagement & commencement

This opportunity is part of Bethlehem Healthcare's initial workforce resourcing and planning while we progress our NDIS provider registration.

Please note that engagement and commencement of participant services are subject to successful NDIS registration, approval of the relevant registration groups, and participants/services commencing.

The initial arrangement is expected to be casual, and there may be limited or no immediate hours available. As registration progresses and participant services commence, there may be opportunities for ongoing work.

We are therefore looking to establish relationships with suitably qualified practitioners now so that the appropriate workforce is in place as the business progresses.
