Boilermaker / Welder – Full-Time Melbourne Northern Suburbs | Permanent Full-Time | Overtime Available

TRS Resourcing is seeking a Trade-Qualified Boilermaker / Welder for a permanent opportunity with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking for stable, long-term employment, interesting fabrication work and the opportunity to further develop their skills within a professional workshop environment.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced fabrication team, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of custom-built heavy industrial equipment and fabricated components.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Fabrication and welding of mild steel components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
- Cutting, bending, forming and shaping steel
- Fit-up and assembly of fabricated components
- MIG welding and general fabrication duties
- Operating workshop machinery, power tools and hand tools
- Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
- Working safely within a busy manufacturing environment

About You We are interested in hearing from Boilermakers, Welders and Fabricators with experience across manufacturing, transport equipment, structural steel, heavy fabrication, industrial equipment or similar environments.

Ideally, you will have:

- Australian-recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication or a related trade
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills




- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with mild steel
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Australian working rights

Experience with aluminium fabrication or welding will be highly regarded but is not essential. Additional tickets such as a Forklift Licence or Confined Space ticket would also be advantageous.
