About the role A leading construction company in the South Pacific is inviting applications from Site Managers / builders, and Plumbers, to support an expanding workbook.

These are full-time in country roles in the Solomon Islands or PNG, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with a talented team.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage / supervise construction projects (or plumbing installations for the plumbing role) on projects ranging in value from $10m - $100m+.
2. Oversee and direct the work of a local workforce to achieve quality and safety standards.
3. Design coordination - ability to interpret drawings and specifications and identify constructability problems ahead of time.
4. Ensure that construction / plumbing work is performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.

Collaborate with in house teams - management staff, administrators and engineers to ensure efficient project delivery.
6. Assist in the planning and scheduling of work on site.
7. Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for

1. 10+ years of proven experience as a builder or plumber, with good knowledge of AS/NZS standards.
2. Robust foundational knowledge in building or plumbing (preferably on complex or large scale projects).
3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
5. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
6. Willingness to work in remote, international locations.
7. Please note these are in-country roles - FIFO arrangements are not possible.
