Role Description The Business Manager – Finance & Insurance is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end finance and insurance process for automotive customers, including presenting finance and insurance options, preparing and explaining contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

The Business

Manager will work closely with the sales team to maximise finance and insurance penetration, support deal structuring, and help achieve overall dealership profitability targets. Day-to-day activities include assessing customer needs, liaising with finance and insurance providers, maintaining accurate records, and delivering clear, customer-focused advice.



The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, implementing process improvements, and contributing to a positive, professional dealership culture.

Qualifications

- Strong finance and insurance acumen, including experience with consumer lending, insurance products, and regulatory compliance in an automotive or similar retail environment.
- Customer-focused sales skills, with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and present suitable finance and insurance solutions in a clear and ethical manner.
- Commercial and analytical capability, including proficiency with numerical calculations, deal structuring, and interpreting financial documents and reporting.
- Administrative and systems skills, such as accurate contract preparation, documentation management, and use of dealership management systems and office software.
- Communication and interpersonal strengths, including confident verbal and written communication and cooperative work with sales, service, and leadership teams.
- Proven experience in automotive finance and insurance, banking, or related financial services; prior dealership exposure is highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, business, commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Current driver’s licence and the ability to work on-site in the Greater Sydney Area, with flexibility to support dealership trading hours as needed.
