About the role

We are a high volume cake manufacturer looking for an experienced cake decorator/cake finisher to join our team.

Key responsibilities

- Masking and decorating cakes

- Measuring and mixing of ingredients

- Following production/recipe sheets

- Finishing and packaging of products

- Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas

- Other occasional tasks related to the role

About you

- Excellent piping and cake masking skills - decorating around 40 cakes per day (this is not fine detailed work)

- Creative in your field

- Good communication and basic math skills

- Robust team player

- Ability to take direction

- Ability to use your initiative

- Self motivated and enthusiastic nature

- Friendly personality

- Ability to adapt to change

- Multi-tasking skills essential

- Fit and healthy individual - essential

- Must be able to lift 15 kg

- Valid work visa is essential

- HACCP knowledge – highly regarded but not essential

- Previous experience in a similar role within a pastry/cake kitchen will be an added advantage
