SmartCare Diagnostics is seeking experienced Medical Officers to join our growing cardiac and diagnostic imaging team.

This is an opportunity for doctors with Emergency, Critical Care or Cardiology experience who want to continue using their acute clinical skills in a structured, well-supported environment — without shift work, nights or on-call.

The Role

You will provide onsite medical supervision for:

- Exercise stress testing / Stress Echo
- CT contrast administration
- Pre-test clinical assessment and risk review
- Management of contrast reactions or clinical deterioration where required

You will work alongside experienced cardiac sonographers, cardiac technicians and radiographers, with clinical support available from Emergency Medicine Specialists.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have

- PGY4 or above
- Current AHPRA medical registration
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and/or Cardiology
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Strong clinical judgement and confidence managing acute deterioration

Experience supervising cardiac stress testing or CT contrast administration is desirable, although appropriate orientation and support will be provided.
