We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Working across high-end residential new builds, renovations and extensions throughout

Sydney, you will be involved in a broad range of carpentry and construction activities. This is a hands-on position suited to a carpenter who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys challenging architectural projects and has strong attention to detail.

You will work alongside our builders, carpenters, subcontractors and project teams to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and to the high standard expected across Toki

Construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

 Complete carpentry, construction, repair and maintenance work safely and to a high standard.

 Read and follow plans, specifications, measurements and job instructions.

 Measure, cut, assemble, install and repair timber and other building materials.

 Carry out framing, doors, flooring, skirting, architraves, decking, fencing, cladding,

minor roofing and general maintenance work.

 Select appropriate materials, tools, equipment and construction methods for each job.

 Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.

 Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements and site procedures.

 Coordinate with the Director, clients, contractors and other trades as required.

 Identify and report construction,



maintenance or safety issues and recommend practical solutions.

 Complete assigned work within required timeframes and rectify any defects in completed work.

 Perform other reasonable carpentry and related duties within the Employee’s skills and experience.

About You

 A relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Carpentry, or an equivalent qualification.

 A minimum of 2 years of relevant carpentry experience.

 Demonstrated experience in residential construction, particularly renovations,

extensions and architectural new builds.

 Strong knowledge of structural, first-fix and second-fix carpentry techniques.

 The ability to confidently read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and specifications.

 Experience working with detailed or bespoke architectural finishes will be highly regarded.

 Experience with formwork and concrete-related carpentry will be advantageous.

 Strong measuring, setting-out and problem-solving skills.

 High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

 The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 A solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

 A valid White Card.

 A current driver's licence will be highly regarded.

Pay: $35.15 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
